Bee Encounter Workshop

On Alumni Day, get an up close and personal view of the Hackley Apiary, our honeybee hive, that offers exciting and innovative learning opportunities in science and environmental studies for our K-12 students. Join Beekeeper James Pratt '97 of Fly Honey Farms and Science teacher Tessa Johnson at our Bee Encounter Workshop to learn about bees and the impact they have on our environment. Then, adults will have the opportunity to put on a beekeeper suit and work in the hives. You will also tour our beautiful orchard. The workshop will take place on Alumni Day (October 21)  - Meet in the Grille Room at 1:05 p.m.
