Athletes of the Week – Week of Oct. 21

Every week, the Athletics department highlights some exceptional Hackley Hornets who are helping to spur on their teams.

Field Hockey: Zoe Kalapoutis ’25
Zoe had two goals and six assists in the past four games. She leads the team in assists this season and is second in both goals and total points. She has been a leader on and off the field all season, and she is a major part of the Hornets’ success.
 
Football: JP Ngbokoli ’26
JP rushed for 115 yards and a touchdown against Riverdale Country School on Saturday, helping Hackley to finish the regular season with an undefeated 7-0 record.
 
Boys’ Soccer: Philip Mahamedi ’25
Philip has had a good season as a starting midfielder. He has used his voice more as a leader this year and fought hard in the game on Wednesday. He’s had three assists this season.
 
Girls’ Soccer: Linda Ohia-Enyia ’25
Linda been a tremendous help as a forward this week (and all season), often generating scoring opportunities with her defensive effort, re-defending and taking on her opponents by chasing down the through ball. Linda had the assist in the Dave Allison Game last Friday and has four goals and one assist for the season.
