In the news: Peter Loehr '85

Peter Loehr ’85, former CEO of Legendary East, a film company focusing on big budget Sino-US Co-productions with subjects based on Chinese history, mythology, or culture, was one of the producers of The Great Wall, recently ranked the 3^rd most popular film on Netflix.

Peter Was Hackley’s Szabo Lecturer earlier this year. The film stars Matt Damon, Willem Dafoe, Pedro Pascal, Andy Lau and Jing Tian and was the largest ever US-China co-production, and the largest production ever shot in China. It was released worldwide through Universal Studios in 2017 and grossed over $334 million worldwide.
