Hornets Survive Late Scare to Earn Tie

Hackley came out with energy to start the game, putting pressure on Collegiate's defensive line early and often. James Hirschberg found the back of the net early on, but was thwarted by the keeper on a number of the occasions. While Collegiate was able to answer back, James wasn't done, scoring his second of the half to put the score at 2-1 going into the break. Collegiate came out of the second half with energy and were rewarded with an equalizer and continued to pour on the pressure. Matt Bridger made a number of wonderful and timely saves to finish out the game.
