Athletes of the Week, 9/18
Carolyn Santangelo ’18, Will Waterhouse ’18, and Olivia Curran ’19 had a terrific opening week. Read on for details.
Carolyn Santangelo ’18: Carolyn has a great start to the season in girls’ soccer. With the team down 1-0 with just over 7 minutes to play, Carolyn scored the tying goal as well as an additional goal in overtime to seal the victory for the Lady Hornets in their first contest of the season.
Olivia Curran ’19: Olivia had an outstanding day on Saturday winning the D3 individual championship and helping lead the Girls’ Cross Country team to the D3 team title at the Somers Invitational. The team had three runners in the top 10 including Olivia’s win.

Will Waterhouse ’18: Will had a great day on the football field. In a closely contested 20-14 victory, Will led all rushers with 242 yards and three TD’s. His outstanding effort played an instrumental role in securing the victory.
Olivia Curran ’19: Olivia had an outstanding day on Saturday winning the D3 individual championship and helping lead the Girls’ Cross Country team to the D3 team title at the Somers Invitational. The team had three runners in the top 10 including Olivia’s win.
