Athletes of the Week – Week of Jan. 29

Last Wednesday, Sophie had a dominant night at the Ivy League Development Meet. She began the evening by cutting off eight full seconds from her previous personal record, running a 3:12.33 in the 1000 meter. The highlight of the race was her last lap, where she made three strategic passes, earning 3rd place overall in a field of 43 runners. Next, she ran the second leg for the girls’ 4x800m team, who also placed 3rd overall in a field of 11 teams.
