Athletes of the Week – Week of Jan. 20
Every week, the Athletics department highlights some exceptional Hackley Hornets who are helping to spur on their teams.
Girls’ Basketball: Noemi Rosas ’27
Noemi had her first Varsity Double-Double in a tough game against Sacred Heart of NYC. She scored 13 points and had 11 rebounds in the game.
Indoor Track and Field: Macey McLane ’26
Macey raced with confidence last Wednesday, as her outstanding performance in the 3000m closed out the Hornets’ night at the third Ivy League meet. With a time of 10:53.29, Macey achieved a monster PR of over 25 seconds.
Indoor Track and Field: Jackson Fauber ’25
Competing in three events at the Hornets’ third Ivy League meet, Jackson demonstrated all-around success in both sprints and jumps. In addition to jumping a 17’6.5” in the Long Jump and running a 39.46s in the 300m, he achieved a PR of 7.32s in the 55m.
