Katie Philpott nets two behind strong midfield performances

The Hackley Girl's soccer team won a nailbiter in a come from behind victory. After a break away goal from Trinity in the 32 minute, Hackley came out on fire in the 2nd half. With over 90% of the 2nd half being played in Trinity's defensive half of the field, the team racked up 13 shots on goal.  Senior Katie Philpott found the back of the net four minutes into the 2nd half by a brilliant through ball which split the defense from Freshman Jill Dressler. With the game tied and the clock ticking down, Senior Sophie Mayeux found Katie Philpott again for the winning goal with a little over a minute left. Strong defense was captained by Senior Kat Budlong along with the strong play from Sophomores Sarah Cassidy and Alyza Ngbokoli, and Freshmen Laurel Cassidy, Stef Frolo, and Sarah Walker.
