Undefeated Season for Hackley Girls Basketball

I would like to announce that our girls basketball team took home the top prize in NYSAIS tournament. Not only did they win both Ivy and State titles, they have done something no other girls’ basketball team has done…go undefeated. The 2011-2012 girls basketball team has made a permanent mark in the Hackley record books. The game on Sunday, March 4th, was the epitome of the teams hard work, dedication and ability to overcome adversity. After being down the entire game the girls tied it with just under two minutes remaining. From there it was an all out nail biter as possession changed three times. Eventually Ally Mueller had an open shot that went in as time expired.
