Hackley Boys Fall Short in Season Opener Against Trinity

The Hackley boys came out with a fire and intensity unmatched by their oppenents, and an eventual 10-8 lead over Trinity.  However, they struggled to keep it up throughout the game and elements of their youth began to show.  In spite of the final score, their were moments of great promise:  Matt Tracy's shooting (9 points), Jordan Allison's defense, Jarren Epp's rebounding, James Breen's smart play, and Max Chen's floor leadership, combined with strong off-the-bench efforts by Brandon Thrope, Chris Chon, and Eric Chow, demonstrated the promist of this committed team.  The team is looking forward to learning from this loss, getting back to the gym, and working hard to improve for their next opponent.
