LS Curriculum Overview
Hackley’s Lower School curriculum is designed with a thoughtful combination of scaffolded individual learning and an emphasis on foundational skills, all of which invite and encourage curiosity, excitement and joy in learning.
The members of our cheerful, engaged community — about 200 children in grades K-4 — learn together in an atmosphere that establishes collaboration and kindness as essential partners to academic challenge. Appreciating each other and a spirit of cooperation consistent with our motto, “United, we help one another,” are embedded in everything we teach.
