Athletes of the Week – Week of Feb. 3
Every week, the Athletics department highlights some exceptional Hackley Hornets who are helping to spur on their teams.
Boys’ Squash: Arjun Virk ’25
Arjun went 3-0 at the No. 1 spot against Masters, Dalton and Trinity. During the Winter Sting against Masters, he won in three games, only giving up 10 points. In the Ivy League tournament semifinals against Dalton, he beat the No. 1 from Dalton 3-0. In the Ivy League Tournament finals against Trinity, Arjun won 3-1 in an hour-long match to help the Hornets win their fourth straight Ivy League Championship!

Swimming: Ella Chen ’26
This week in two meets, Ella was a perfect 4-0 in placing 1st in individual races and was a member of four first-place relays. She helped the girls’ team complete a perfect regular season 8-0.
Wrestling: Emmanuel Henderson ’26
Emmanuel won the Ivy Title in his weight class and has recorded 30 wins this season. He also broke a school record, set by Xavier Carmona ’14, for total team points in a season.Hackley School
