I am studying particle physics, and I hope to research on improving detection methods and refine our understanding of the Standard Model so we can better comprehend how the world functions.

Field of study:  Particle Physics

Why did you pursue this project?

I found particle physics to be interesting as it explores topics that are the foundation’s of our world, and being able to understand how things function at a fundamental level was really appealing to me. So far I have loved reading about antimatter and the challenges associated with it. For example, reading about the storage and production of antimatter so that it is able to be used as rocket fuel was cool as it proposed interesting solutions to the unique challenges that antimatter poses.

Outside of physics I like photography and I enjoy playing soccer.
