Transportation

List of 9 items.

  • Group Transportation/Carpooling

When a number of students are coming from a particular area outside normal public school busing routes, Hackley will try to work with families to set up appropriate group transportation.

Some families deliver and pick up their children at school daily -- by choice or in absence of other alternatives. We're happy to help new families meet other families who live near their homes to facilitate carpooling.
  • Arrival/Departure Times

All school buses arrive at Hackley between 7:40 and 8:00 a.m., in time for the start of the school day. Buses return to Hackley in time for each of two dismissal times -- 2:45 and 4:30. The time your child will be picked up in the morning or dropped off in the afternoon is determined by the relevant bus company.
  • Students Living in the Bronx, Yonkers, and Mt. Vernon

We currently have a bus company that transports students residing in the Bronx, Yonkers, and Mt. Vernon. For questions about busing from the Bronx, Yonkers, or Mt. Vernon, please feel free to contact Jen Moroney, Managing Assistant for Operations and Campus Planning, at jmoroney@hackleyschool.org or (914) 366-2619.
  • Students Living in White Plains and Greenwich

We currently have a bus company that transports students residing in Greenwich and White Plains. For questions about busing, please feel free to contact Jen Moroney, Managing Assistant for Operations and Campus Planning, at jmoroney@hackleyschool.org
